Questions you may have
Inicial consult
How long does the consultation last?
Your Initial Consultation typically lasts 90 minutes, providing dedicated time to explore your health story thoughtfully and in depth.
What should I prepare before the session?
Come as you are, with an openness to share your story. Depending on your individual needs, you may be invited to complete questionnaires or share recent lab results. This space is intentionally designed to feel calm, supportive, and personalized.
How does the online appointment work?
Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure video link. At your appointment time, simply click the link and we’ll connect face-to-face from wherever you feel most comfortable.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. This allows me to offer the space to someone else who may need support. I understand that life happens, so feel free to reach out if something unexpected comes up.
Follow- Up Sessions
What is the purpose of a follow-up session?
Follow-up sessions allow us to check in on your progress, review how your body is responding, and gently adjust your plan as needed so your healing continues to feel supported and aligned.
How often should I schedule follow-up sessions?
The frequency varies from person to person. Some benefit from monthly sessions, while others prefer a more flexible rhythm. Together, we decide what best supports you.
What do we review during a follow-up session?
We revisit your symptoms, lifestyle changes, lab results (if applicable), emotional well-being, and how you’re feeling overall — always with curiosity and care.
When helpful, we may use tools like the Medical Symptom Questionnaire (MSQ) to track patterns and monitor your progress. Each follow-up allows us to thoughtfully refine your personalized wellness plan and support steady, sustainable growth.
Are follow-up sessions only for functional medicine care?
Follow-up sessions are ideal for ongoing functional medicine support, but they can also help integrate lifestyle, stress management, and holistic recommendations over time.
1:1 Meditation/ Yoga Nidra Sessions
Do I need prior meditation experience to join a session?
Not at all. These sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. I gently guide you step by step, meeting you exactly where you are.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided, deeply restorative practice often called “yogic sleep.” It allows your body to rest deeply while your awareness remains gently present, supporting relaxation and nervous system balance.
What can meditation help with?
Meditation can support stress relief, emotional regulation, nervous system balance, sleep quality, mental clarity, and a deeper sense of inner connection.
How should I prepare for the session?
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can relax without interruptions. You may sit or lie down, and using a blanket or pillow can help you feel more at ease.
Meditation/ Yoga Nidra Group Classes
Do I need meditation experience to join a group class?
Not at all. Group classes are open to everyone, whether you’re completely new to meditation or already have a personal practice. You’ll be gently guided throughout the session.
What is the difference between group sessions and 1:1 sessions?
Group sessions offer the added support of shared presence and community, while 1:1 sessions are more personalized. Both provide guided practices and a safe space to rest.
How many people are in each group?
Groups are intentionally kept small to maintain a sense of intimacy, safety, and connection.
Are group classes held online or in person?
All group classes are currently held virtually, allowing participants to join from anywhere while still feeling connected.
